Michael Bielaczyc

Michael Bielaczyc has been making art his whole life, in various media and subjects.

He has been selling and showing work since 1995, when he self published a comic book written and illustrated by himself. Going back to college at 23, he decided that art was going to be his main focus in life.

Paul Bielaczyc

Paul Bielaczyc in his own words: “I have been drawing and whatnot since as long as I can remember. Any spot in my school notebooks that didn’t have notes were filled with sketches. I drew mostly from the D&D adventures that my brother ran, as well as the fantasy books I was reading. I did a few pieces based on Terry Brooks’ Shannara series, but focusing on being a nerd, I didn’t have much time for art in high school.

July’s Committe Meeting

Hello everyone, the next Chattacon Committe meeting is Saturday, July 9th at 2 PM at the Chattanooga Choo Choo.

Changes at the Choo Choo

As you may have heard the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo continues to renovate, redesign and update the historic grounds of the Choo Choo resort.  One of these updates that has been recently revealed is that the future of building 3 ( the party building) has now been decided. This building will go through renovations to become single use apartments such as they recently did to building 2.   This renovation will begin before the end of this year making it no longer an available building for conventions or guest. While this is an inconvenience, we at Chattacon do not see this as a show stopper.  Chattacon 42 will occur and we will do everything we can to make this change as painless as possible.

The Chattacon team has already been working on a resolution for the issue of room space, and will be soon announcing an overflow hotel. There will be a shuttle running between this overflow hotel and the convention.  To guarantee a room at the Choo Choo please book now, there are still rooms available.  Also, the train cars will be made available to Chattacon at the same rates as a standard room.  We will be addressing the issue of party space and we will find a home for you at the Choo Choo.  If you have already booked a “party” room the hotel will be contacting you soon.

As we have more information we will release it on our many social media outlets. Be sure to follow us on twitter – @chattacon on Instagram and on Facebook.
